Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has given the lowdown on her ex Clive Owen's recent hip surgery. Chatting ahead of their new telly programme Our Farm Next Door on ITV's Lorraine, she talked about her other half getting over a major operation and how the whole clan is mucking in to help.
The Shepherdess shared: "There's a lot going on here. It's been a nightmare here. I've got children going to school, I've got children studying and children working and then he comes to me and says he's bored."
She added: "He has had a hip replacement and he's a terrible patient. Everybody's just getting on and stuff's getting done but just not how he would like it. But most of the time we don't care."

Even though they've called time on their marriage, Amanda and Clive are still grafting together on breathing new life into an old wreck of a farmstead for their impending TV series, which hasn't been all smooth sailing on account of dodgy weather and pesky setbacks, Lancs Live reports. Amanda declared: "This actually belongs to us whereas Ravenseat is a tenanted farm. This has an amazing history and no one has actually lived here for over 100 years," and Clive shipped in with: "There's no road to it at all."
The well-known duo conceded that the weather was just miserable. Amanda delved into the gritty details: "It was never going to be simple. I'm not that much of a twit right? Ask me anything about sheep and I'll tell you what I think about them. Ask me anything hill farming, no problem. Ask me anything about home renovations, not a clue. This is all about the future. It's a big undertaking", reports Manchester Evening News.
In 2022, Amanda and Clive revealed their decision to part ways, sharing with the public: "Clive and I have are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate. This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family."
Not long after, Clive owned up to his shortcomings, admitting that his quick temper was partly to blame, confessing it "drove her away".
Together, they're parents to a brood of nine: Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clemmie, and Nancy, who are all either getting schooled, earning their keep or hitting the books.
