P Diddy's jail food hell as star hates prison grub with coffee only allowed on weekends

2 weeks ago 4

Sean "Diddy" Combs eats fajitas, roast beef and cereal, according to prison insiders. The disgraced rapper is in federal prison on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The music mogul, who has denied all charges, has had several setbacks since he was arrested in September, including struggling to offload his $61.5 million Los Angeles mansion, and some potential financial issues that have seen him resorting to renting out his private jet for a “massive fee.”

His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, indicated that the food was an issue in earlier comments made in October.

“I think the food’s probably the roughest part of it,” he said at the time, after all requests to post bail were denied by a judge.

According to People Magazine, Combs starts his day behind bars at 6am with a breakfast of cereal, fruit and a breakfast cake. This is a common morning meal for inmates.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons national menu, oatmeal and toast are also weekday options. Coffee is only served on the weekend.

On weekdays, lunch is served at 11am and dinner is served after the 4pm headcount. The lunches consist of mains from hamburgers and baked fish or beef tacos and scrambled eggs and biscuits on the weekend.

As for dinner, the menu includes options like chicken fajitas, pasta and roast beef.

Earlier this year, his attorneys Marc Agnifilo and Teny R. Geragos, who represent the singer, wrote in a bail proposal that the Brooklyn facility is “not fit for pre-trial detention” and said the conditions there are “horrific.”

They proposed Combs live at home alone in Florida with a 24/7 security team but he was denied bail for a second time.

The musician is at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center while he awaits trial.

Combs, who is known by the Bureau of Prisons as Register Number 37452-054, was placed on suicide watch in the early days of his incarceration.

Combs' attorney told reporters outside the courthouse on Sept. 17 that the star would fight the charges "with all his energy". "He’s going to plead not guilty, obviously," Agnifilo added.

In the 14-page indictment, prosecutors allege that the music producer coerced multiple women into performing "elaborate and produced sex performances" with sex workers and characterised the events as "freak offs."

Federal authorities raided Combs' homes in Miami and L.A. in March after several lawsuits alleging sexual abuse were filed against Combs.
