Christine McGuinness has a new person in her romantic life, two years after splitting from her ex-husband Paddy.
The former showbiz couple, who had been married for 11 years, announced they had made the 'difficult decision' to part ways in July 2021, but vowed to always be a 'loving family'. Since then, they have continued to live under the same roof while moving on with their own separate lives.
Earlier this year, Paddy spoke to the Mirror about how he was 'happy being single' but was enjoying dating. Meanwhile, Christine has now revealed she is exploring a new connection with a special someone, who allows her to escape from 'mummy' duties every now and then.

Instagram)Sitting down with Best magazine, the model revealed that she and Paddy have a no-talk policy regarding their love lives unless it involves the children. She said: "We don't discuss it an awful lot, as we're trying to be respectful to each other." She explained that she met someone on her birthday in March.
In June, she decided to put herself out there and go on a date with the mystery person at a London members-only club. Now, five months later, the pair are still dating, with Christine telling the outlet: "I'm just dating. I'm not ready for a relationship, and that's something else I felt comfortable saying."
Paddy, who is also dating, told the Mirror in April: "I tried a couple of dates last year. After 12 months of adjusting to life on my own, I felt I should give it a try rather than really wanting to. For now, I'm happy being single." The former couple share twins Penelope and Leo, 10, and six-year-old Felicity, who all have autism.
"If someone didn't know our situation and came to our house and they spent the day with us, they would not have a clue [we were not together]," Paddy said. "We get on well, we live together and co-parent. We get the lawyers back and forth but that's separate - that's a different thing."
The exes have separate rooms in their huge house, but function as a family. Paddy said: "If Christine met someone else, I'd be supportive." He added: "For now, we're happy with how things are, living together and helping each other balance work and kids."
Last year, a source told Closer magazine: "Paddy's always said that whatever happens, he'll never stop loving Christine. And while they're no longer in a romantic relationship, they are still very close and he just wants what's best for her." They said living together "might seem unconventional, but it works for them".
The couple spent last Christmas together to make it special for their kids. Christine told Closer: "Of course me and Paddy will be spending Christmas together because we still live in the same house. I think we've got to move on, but for now, it works for the children." She added the one thing they agree on is "to be a good mum and dad".
