Peter Andre is a doting dad of five, but after committing to getting the snip to avoid it becoming six, he now says he's a bit "scared" of pressing ahead with a vasectomy. The popstar's eldest child, Junior, will turn 20 this summer, and his youngest, Arabella, was born in April last year.
Speaking previously about whether he wanted to become a dad again, the Mysterious Girl singer, who turns 52 this month, said he and wife Emily MacDonagh had agreed they would stop at three - they're also parents to Amelia, 10, and eight-year-old Theo - and he was prepared to undergo a vasectomy. Chatting on Loose Women last week he hinted that he had yet to go through with it, and speaking exclusively to OK!, he elaborated more on his reasons why.

INSTAGRAM)"I appeared on Loose Women last week to promote the Frankie Valli tour and one of the topics we discussed is whether a man should get a vasectomy. Having children is a big decision," he said in his exclusive column.
"We frequently expect the woman to have to find a way and take measures not to become pregnant, but actually I realise that us men have a responsibility too. The problem is, like many, I’m a bit scared of having that kind of procedure. I know, call me a wimp. Who knows? Never say never, I guess."
Peter, who shares Junior and Princess, 17, with his ex Katie Price, also spoke recently on the Netmums podcast and said Emily had been busting a few vasectomy myths for him but he still wasn't totally convinced it was the right step.

Instagram)"I literally thought that if you get it done, you start talking like this (high-pitched)," he revealed. "I literally did, so I started freaking out and I said, 'I can't do that' and she [Emily] said, 'What's wrong with you?'. And I said, 'Well, what if I start speaking really high-pitched?' As if I don't speak high-pitched already."
After NHS doctor Emily assured him it was a myth, Peter said he was more at peace with the decision, but was then told by other men it was a "horrific" experience.
"I'm not going to lie, I've completely bottled it, it's freaked me out," he added. "If it means she doesn't need to do anything to prevent it, I will do it, but it's going to take some guts to do it."
In his latest column Peter also revealed a special connection to the newest member of the royal family - baby Athena, the second daughter of Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

PA)Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi was born on Wednesday, January 22, at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London several weeks before her due date.
Her name, Peter said, holds a very special meaning to him. "I love that they called their baby Athena.
That was actually one of our top contenders for Arabella – it was one of my favourites. Obviously, Athens is the capital of Greece so, being Greek, I think it’s a great name."
