Peter Andre has been left shaken and 'petrified' for his own children after 14-year-old London schoolboy Kelyan Bokassa was stabbed to death on a busy just last week. Tributes now lie at a bus stop in Woolwich, South East London, after Kelyan was stabbed on a route 472 double-decker at around 2.30pm last Tuesday and died a short time later despite the best efforts of paramedics.
And following the harrowing news, former singer Peter has opened up about his own worries for his two teenage kids, 19-year-old son Junior and daughter Princess, 17. Writing in his weekly New! Magazine column, the father-of-five said: "It was so tragic to hear about the 14-year-old boy, Kelyan Bokassa, who was stabbed on a London bus. I can’t imagine that feeling as a parent. I remember when Junior and Princess started to go on trains – I was petrified.

But the problem is, the world is unsafe and you can’t protect them all of the time. My heart aches for that young boy’s family. Knife crime is a real issue that needs to be dealt with. My thoughts are with his family."
Kelyan was an aspiring drill rapper who used the stage name Grippa and he was killed in an area where gang warfare is prevalent. Witnesses have claimed to have seen two boys – including one wielding a "massive machete" – fleeing the scene The Met Police have so far made no arrests and are appealing for information.
Talking to The Mirror, Kelyan's mother, Mary, said: "It makes me think about what's going on in the world. And this is where he became an inspiring rapper because he had no other options. He was not given any other opportunities. He was using rap to express his anger. He was using this to cope with his anger. I understand he was angry because of what he went through. The care system just completely broke him.

He was a child who was literally lost." Mary, originally from Central African Republic, proudly looked at notes left in honour of her son, including one addressed to her.
Peter shares his eldest children with ex-wife Katie Price, he is also dad to younger children; Millie, Theo and Arabella, with his wife Emily MacDonagh. Peter has a famously close relationship with his brood, previously gushing about his children while attending the Pride Of Britain Awards together last year.
Speaking to The Mirror, he said: "It's so important for us to come as a family and bring the kids. J and P [Junior and Princess] are adults now and they still want to come with us. Every single year. We love it."
He added: "If we don't go to any other event, it doesn't matter. This is the only event we want to go to because of what it stands for. When you come here and hear the stories, it's just so inspirational. And every year gets bigger and better. You never think you can top it."
