Primark’s 'chic' £18 boots look just like £115 Steve Madden pair

The Primark boots look almost identical to a designer pair - but there's a huge price difference for shoppers

Primark is stocking a new pair of boots that bear a striking resemblance to a designer alternative. Known for its affordable fashion and homeware, the high street giant may have just introduced a new crowd-pleaser.

The retailer's Zip-Up Block Heel Boots looks similar to a style by designer brand Steve Madden, but at a fraction of the cost. Shoppers can snag the Primark version for £18, while the Steve Madden Dusty Chocolate Brown Suede boots carry a price tag of $149.95 (roughly £116.22) online.

The boots are similar, with a suede-look finish and a heeled design, as well as a structured shape. They also both have side zips and squared toes, but while the sole of Primark's Zip-Up Block Heel Boots are black, the Steve Madden pair have a cream base.

Steve Madden's Dusty Chocolate Brown Suede boots are priced at $149.95 (around £116.22), while the Primark equivalent is on offer for just £18. This presents shoppers with a potential saving of approximately £98 if they go for the high street alternative.
