Another chaotic year has come and gone for the Real Housewives franchise. In 2024, many stars tried upping the ante. Yet, some of their antics went too far. As a result, certain cities and stars are reeling, leaving their futures on Bravo undecided.

Each of these nine series contained many high moments in the year of our king, Andy Cohen, circa 2024. However, many cities also saw their fair share of WTF. As the ball (or taco, if you live in Tucson, Arizona) drops to usher in 2025, we would like to imagine that these ladies are making their resolution lists. Hopefully, these lists will include how they can each help make their cities shine on Bravo.

From dark storylines to fights that made us cringe, not cheer, all is not equal in the land of Real Housewives. Therefore, these are the top resolutions we hope to see each city making in the new year.

Real Housewives of New York needs to commit to zero self-produced pranks

If you cannot beat them, prank them. Sadly, these forced storylines, aka over (and under) hyped pranks, have since overshadowed the Real Housewives of New York series.

Last Season, Erin Lichy pulled a prank on Ubah Hassan during a girls’ trip to Anguilla. Ubah left her phone in the taxi, and Erin retrieved it, holding it secretly hostage as Ubah began to spiral. Ubah was not pleased with Erin after the fact, and she let Erin have it.

Then, on a trip to the Hamptons this season, Erin and Brynn Whitfield hid plastic cockroaches in a pavlova meringue-based dessert created by Jenna Lyons. It was funny, and we will give them this one.

But then, another prank arose in Season 15, tiring us all out. Erin and Rebecca Minkoff agreed to pretend that Rebecca was pregnant, but she did not know who the father was. This woman is married, so right off the bat, this prank failed to land.

But Brynn ran her mouth to the others about this false flag, causing Erin and Rebecca to engage in a fake fight. Everything about this prank felt forced, cringy, and gross.

Thank you. We all hated it. Therefore, in 2025, ladies, please commit to stopping these prank-filled storylines on RHONY.

Real Housewives of New Jersey needs to resolve vows of silence with the bloggers and their decades-long feuds

The future of Real Housewives of New Jersey is currently unknown. Following 14 seasons, this series has turned into a hot mess, complete with a heavily divided cast, which makes filming difficult.

In Season 14, we received the same narrative we have been receiving since Season 3. Melissa Gorga and her sister-in-hate, Teresa Giudice, are not friends. They are not even acquaintances who can show up to film a friendly scene as one.

Watching this family fall apart for over a decade has been awful. Thankfully, the network agrees. Therefore, this series is on an extra-long pause until 2026. When this series does return, if the original cast is all still present, we hope that they will commit to a ceasefire because many of us will feel damned if we have to watch this mess any further.

In addition, 2024 seemed to be the year of toxicity and bloggers online. Allegedly, one of the cast members started leaking their advanced copies of each episode to their online allies. These screeners helped their chosen watchers to promote certain narratives about the show, which helped their favorite stars win with their storylines.

As a result, everything about Season 14 landed flat. The storylines felt contrived, and the joy got sucked out of this series faster than most.

Our second ask only involves a few faces. Please commit to staying far away from the bloggers during filming. Repeat this step during each episode that airs on Bravo.

Real Housewives of Potomac needs to commit to holding Karen Huger accountable

Throughout her time on Real Housewives of Potomac, and beyond, The Grand Dame, Karen Huger has received two DUIs. Is Karen hilarious? Yes. But one DUI is one too many, so now that she has two, Karen is officially starting to tick many of us off.

Hear us out. Legal battles mean the person involved has to be extra careful with their chosen words during filming. We understand this and are not looking for Karen to admit everything that transpired.

However, Karen then flipped the script, upset that she could have died in a bid for sympathy. Never mind the fact that she could have killed an actual innocent human being. Also, Karen tried to insist that the truth would come out. Instead, her arrest videos came out, and they were awful.

Karen was just found guilty in a court of law. Therefore, if she manages to escape any time served, we need her to commit to filming on RHOP in an accountable manner. Own it, Karen.

RHOM needs to resolve to move past the Lisa Hochstein vs Lenny Hochstein storylines

Divorces suck. However, Lisa Hochstein and Lenny Hochstein have officially wrapped their split up, settling all of their future steps as agreed upon by the courts.

Yet, this divorce has overshadowed the storylines on Real Housewives of Miami. Many ladies in this cast have tried to get Lisa to speak about other topics, but her heart and brain remain stuck on her divorce. While we can understand her need to vent, this is becoming an energy suck on this series for Lisa and her friends alike.

Lisa is stuck in an unhealthy cycle, both on RHOM and off. We want only good things for this icon. After everything she has endured, we hope Lisa feels the same. If so, we hope to see this now happily partnered-up star committing to showing us all of her moving forward storylines in 2025.

RHODubai needs to commit to forging genuine friendships within its cast

Real Housewives of Dubai is the sleeper hit in this franchise. Their wealth is beyond, and their traditions and customs are fascinating. The storylines are also a hit, as these ladies know how to fight hard over petty matters, like who had the better seats at Beyoncé while the fighters involved were equally sitting pretty in two different expensive holding areas.

Yet, only two seasons have transpired within this series. Following Season 1, RHODubai went on a pause. Now that Season 2 has wrapped, another pause has arrived.

Many viewers decided to skip this series, as Dubai holds laws against homosexuality. However, we cannot change the location nor the antiquated laws in Dubai, so what else can these ladies do to help their series thrive in the new year (or the next new year)?

For starters, they can commit to healing in 2025. Chanel Ayan and Lesa Milan, fix it.

The same thing goes for Taleen Marie and Caroline Brooks.

Also, Sara Al Madani and Saba Yussouf are no longer close. We cannot hold any hopes for this series unless the ladies involved can commit to forging genuine friendships with each other during their pause.

RHOA needs to commit to lighter storylines versus career-ending allegations and physical altercations

The ladies on Real Housewives of Atlanta are gold. This cast regularly delivers boatloads of shade that often turns viral, courtesy of hysterical memes and gifs. But on the other hand, this series also hit below the belt the hardest, making RHOA an often uncomfortable watch.

During the reunion for Season 6, Porsha Williams dragged Kenya Moore by her hair extensions, prompting Andy to send Porsha home early.

But the worst was yet to come. In Season 9, Phaedra Parks created a false narrative against Kandi Burruss and her husband. Phaedra told Porsha that Kandi and her man were trying to drug her drink so that they could take advantage of her.

This claim was false and dehumanizing, and it also had the power to destroy Kandi, which is the opposite of cool.

Season 16 is now filming. Already, another heavy reaction to a loathed costar has transpired. Allegedly, Kenya displayed sexually explicit photos of Brittany Eady at a cast event. Kenya got axed for the remainder of this season, but she is thankfully owning her shiz, which helps.

As these ladies prepare to launch Season 16 in 2025, we hope to see every life-halting storyline getting eradicated or owned. Additionally, we hope they commit to upping their wit and signature snarks, bringing us the shade that this series nails without even trying.

RHOBH needs to commit to keeping its heels on the gas pedals via further raw feelings and edits

2024 delivered us Season 14 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and whew, this season is a win. However, it is far from over, as 2025 kicks off at only Episode 6 of this series. All we need these ladies to do is commit to keep bringing us their truths in the upcoming calendar year.

Dorit Kemsely, please stay activated while trying to move forward with Kyle Richards. And Kyle, keep sharing your heart regarding your separation, as your story resonates with many.

Meanwhile, Erika Jayne, you are nailing it as the voice of reason this season, so please keep this up in 2025. And Bozoma Saint John, never, ever change. You are the greatest gift for this series.

RHOC needs to commit to moving past problems

Dearest gentle readers, this season of Real Housewives of Orange County was phenomenal. 2024 gave us this gift of Season 18. And for this present, we say thank you. But holy cow, you ladies know how to beat a dead end.

Did Heather Dubrow stage paparazzi photos at Disney Land? Heather says no. However, this storyline continued to sound.

Is Jennifer Pedranti bad with her finances? Yes. But Jennifer is working on this, so the ladies need to back down. And who cares if her nonbroke man buys her an expensive dress?

Likewise, Tamra Judge, we love you, but you went in hard this year, constantly going after Shannon Beador for the same issue. Thankfully, Tamra apologized at the reunion, which gives us hope that these ladies are on the path to providing us with quickly wrapped-up frustrations in 2025. And hopefully no more DUIs for Shannon…

And while we hope you commit to quickly moving past situations that arise, can we also ask that one apology be enough? IKYKY.

RHOSLC needs to commit to never changing, with a touch less of the husband(s)

Hands down, the ladies on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City understand their assignments the best. They are the best city in this franchise, and we will die on this hill.

Mary Cosby is finally filming from a vulnerable space with her son, Robert Jr, and their interactions have been heartbreaking yet beautiful to watch. Also, Angie Katsanevas and Mary now have a fun, loving friendship that we never saw coming yet adore.

Meanwhile, the other ladies are all firing at a 10, showing us their quirky, bitchy, fashionable selves to the best of their abilities. This series has everything, and we do not want it to change its course by any means. However, for the sake of Bronwyn Newport, let us commit to talking less about the husband(s), okay, Bronwyn? Again, IYKYK.
