Rebekah Vardy in savage swipe at Coleen Rooney as I'm A Celeb drama heats up

Rebekah Vardy has taken another cheeky dig at Coleen Rooney as she dishes out her thoughts on this year's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

The WAG married to Leicester City ace Jamie Vardy isn't shying away from sharing her opinions on Coleen following her own jungle stint, especially after the infamous social media scandal where Coleen accused Rebekah of leaking stories about her, earning her the nickname 'Wagatha Christie'. Despite Rebekah's vehement denials, the High Court libel trial revealed that her ex-agent Caroline Watt might have been the one selling stories, having had access to Rebekah's Instagram.

Rebekah faced the music in 2017 on I'm A Celeb and later initiated a high-profile libel case, but in July 2022, the High Court ruled Coleen's claims were "substantially true". To add salt to the wound, last month a judge ordered Rebekah to cough up an additional £100,000 in costs, piling onto the hefty £1.8 million bill she owes Coleen.

Since the new series of I'm A Celeb kicked off on Sunday, Rebekah's been all over it with her commentary, already slamming the campmates as "dull and wet" and admitting she's gagging to see Coleen munching on "bull's penis and humble pie". Speaking to the Sun, when quizzed about who should face the next trial, Rebekah cheekily responded: "Sorry it's going to have to be Coleen!"

She also criticised BBC Radio 1 presenter Dean McCullough for "begging" for McFly tickets from campmate Danny Jones, predicting that the camp's friendly atmosphere won't last much longer, reports the Mirror. Radio host Melvin Odoom was labelled a "bore" by Rebekah when he admitted his crush on Carol Vorderman.

"Melvin who? If Carol Vorderman has any sense then she will be turning down that date offer from the radio host," she told the publication. When Coleen entered the camp, Rebekah shared a photo of herself relaxing in a pink bikini with her eyes closed.

In the caption, she teased: "The feeling when you are living rent free in people's heads." She added a laughing-crying emoji and a winking emoji to her post. After the first episode of the series, Rebekah wrote in her column: "Coleen sank in the river twice. It's the gift that keeps on giving."

Rebekah also had harsh words for another campmate, accusing Dean McCullough of siding with Coleen. "Dean, Dean and his cosying up to Coleen. It's so very obvious and, believe me, it is going to get tiresome. He absolutely loves to talk about Wagatha and when he does he knows he's going to get airtime from it," Rebekah vented in The Sun.

Nicola McLean, good pals with both celebs, reckons Rebekah Vardy will be glued to the telly watching Coleen Rooney in the jungle, ready to dish on any slip-ups. "I admire strong women and both of these girls are strong in different ways. Can't wait to see Coleen in the jungle and can't wait to see what Rebekah Vardy has got to say about it," she shared.
