RHODubai is Put on “Pause” After Just 2 Seasons as Caroline Brooks Reacts and Seemingly Shades Taleen Marie

After just two seasons, The Real Housewives of Dubai is now on “pause,” according to a recent report that castmate Caroline Brooks confirmed. Brooks also called out her former friend Taleen Marie for ‘debunking’ a rumor in October that the show was getting axed.

Earlier this fall, a Bravo account claimed a rumor was swirling that Bravo was canceling RHODubai. Taleen, however, was quick to claim it’s “not true.” Not long after, Brooks threw shade at her co-stars for debunking reports when they actually weren’t aware of the show’s fate.

But now, according to a source speaking to Us Weekly, RHODubai has been placed on “pause.”

“The cast was told a couple days ago,” said the insider.

After the report surfaced, Brooks shared her own past post from October, where she seemingly refuted Taleen’s claim that the show wasn’t getting canceled.

“Not sure where all of these #RHODubai rumors are coming from. Bravo hasn’t announced anything and our ENTIRE cast hasn’t been told anything. So I thought I might share that since there are people ‘teasing’ and ‘debunking’ rumors,” wrote Brooks at the time. “Just saying it’s giving THIRSTY calm down.”

Now, after the “pause” report, Brooks reflected on her past post on X: “This aged well… 🥂 #RHODubai Ladies, don’t debunk things and make false announcements to mislead people. Girls speaking about ‘shakeups’ and all of the debunking, was.. well.. interesting to watch on my timeline 😄 I TOLD YOU.”

In the comments, a fan asked if the show truly is on pause.

One of the most shocking aspects of season two was the sudden alliance of Chanel Ayan and Caroline Stanbury after a season of feuding.

But despite their onscreen closeness, Chanel’s ex-friend Lesa Milan questioned the friendship in a June interview with Us Weekly.

“It did take me by surprise in some ways more than others, but I think, overall, I’m not buying into it,” said Lesa of the friendship at the time. “But I’m here to tune in just like the rest of you guys because I feel like there were a lot of things that I didn’t see because I’m not in all the scenes. I’m not always with them. And so, I’m looking forward to seeing how this whole thing plays out.”
