Marysol Patton did not have kind words about Dr. Nicole Martin after she announced her Real Housewives of Miami exit. She faced instant backlash for her comments but still chose to double down, even after being booed.
Yes, for those who hadn’t heard, rumors popped up that Nicole wasn’t part of filming for RHOM Season 7, even though Bravo confirmed Season 7’s filming that same month.
Shortly thereafter, she confirmed that she’d be stepping away from the show due to her “significant postpartum anxiety.” Completely understandable. But, of course, some folks didn’t treat Nicole’s exit so graciously.
Marysol Patton was booed, but claims no one on RHOM mentions Nicole Martin after her exit
At Bravo Fan Fest 2024, Andy Cohen spoke with the RHOM cast. He said to Marysol, “Initial thoughts about Dr. Nicole not rejoining the group. I think you said that no one missed her.” Marysol said, “Well, so,” but immediately, the crowd started loudly booing her. She just smiled, nodded, and stuck her tongue out.
When the crowd quieted down, she said, “I surmised that because, as I’ve been filming, no one mentions her. So, I said, ‘No one mentions her, so I don’t think anybody misses her.’” She turned to her cast and reiterated that nobody talked about Nicole. Her castmates clearly disagreed and the crowd started making noise again.
Andy added, “Maybe they haven’t mentioned her because they’re talking about the group of women that are around.” But Marysol suggested that if Alexia Nepola were no longer on the show, she would still talk about Alexia. “No one ever says ‘I wish [Nicole] was here.’” Again, her castmates disagreed.
Alexia notably disagreed as well, saying she “always wanted to be close to her and be friends with her.” Alexia acknowledged that it “didn’t look that way on camera,” but things were allegedly different behind the scenes. Mhm. Sure.
