Sarah Jessica Parker’s Halloween-Worthy Plunging Dress Demands a Double Take

4 weeks ago 18

Sarah Jessica Parker almost had a Carrie Bradshaw moment in a plunging, chic Halloween-worthy dress last night for a charity gala in New York City. She attended The Golden Heart Awards benefiting God’s Love We Deliver at The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine alongside her “Sex and the City” co-stars Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. The trio looked glamorous on the red carpet, with Parker sporting a stunning black lace dress ahead of Halloween. However, her achromatic outfit contradicted her onscreen character’s aesthetics, who is best known for vibrant and bright colors.

Carrie Bradshaw would probably disagree with Sarah Jessica Parker for wearing an all-black plunging lace dress. Nonetheless, the ensemble seemed like an ideal spooky season fit. Parker opted for a gothic vibe last night in New York City in a midi dress from the Michael Kors Collection. Her dress featured a structured plunge and lace detailing, making it almost see-through. The outfit had a sweetheart neckline comprising a deep mid-cut and long sleeves with floral patterns. These patterns covered her attire, which she matched with a black-and-silver dotted belt that had an all-silver oval buckle.

For accessories, Parker combined silver and diamond jewelry with the black plunging dress for a complete Halloween-y look. Harper’s Bazaar reported that she wore a diamond stud on one ear and a silver winged earring on the other. In addition, the actor put on multiple rings and a similar bracelet to complete the look. Parker also sported Gianvito Rossi peep-toe mules with a slick-back hairdo, low bun, and side parting. To complement the silver bits, the 59-year-old carried a silver rhinestone handbag that came with a black belt.

Sarah Jessica Parker posed with Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon at the red carpet event, almost making it seem like watching one of the “Sex and the City” films or episodes. The trio have been working on their new project, “And Just Like That…,” an extended chapter of the “Sex and the City” universe. The show aired its Season 2 finale in August 2023 and is soon expected to return with a new season.
