Nikki Glaser has taken her Swiftie status to the next level.
The comedian is revealing she spent "close to $100,000" attending 22 shows on Taylor Swift's record-breaking Eras Tour.
Nikki Glaser's Swiftie obsession
Glaser, who will soon host the Golden Globes, opened up about her extravagant journey in a recent interview, explaining why the experience was "worth every penny."
"I want to be clear that we're including travel expenses, hotels, and me also flying and putting up everyone that I would invite to go with me, plus tickets, plus merch," Glaser, 40, told PEOPLE.
"It's all well worth it. I would've paid even more."
The tour, which wrapped earlier this month, generated over $2 billion in ticket sales, a number Glaser found personally satisfying.
"I love that it was down to the dollar, and I could see my own money in that number and be like, 'Yeah, there it is,'" she joked.
Glaser, who is preparing to host the 2025 Golden Globes on January 5, justified the expense by comparing it to the cost of raising children, a path she consciously chose not to pursue.
"I looked up how much it costs to raise a kid, and once I saw that number, I thought, 'It's no problem for me to spend this on Taylor Swift,'" she said.
"People spend that much on their kids playing hockey for five years. So it's okay."
Despite some backlash, Glaser remains unapologetic about her spending.
"No one ever shames anyone for having kids and says, 'Oh, what a waste of money.' But for some reason, when I go to 22 Taylor Swift shows, it's like, 'You're so privileged. How dare you spend that money.'"
As she prepares for one of the biggest milestones of her career-becoming the first solo female host of the Golden Globes-Glaser credits her relentless work ethic and the joy she's found in her Swift fandom for helping her stay grounded.
"It's been a lot of hard work leading up to this point," she said. "I'm at a stage where I can handle the attention and not let it go to my head."
The Golden Globes air live on CBS and Paramount+ on Sunday, January 5, at 8 p.m. ET.
