With her chatty YouTube vlogs and stylish Instagram posts, Molly-Mae is a regular on our screens. But recently, anticipation has been building around a new behind-the-scenes TV series, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, which is set to give fans exclusive insight into Molly’s life following her split from Tommy Fury.

Now, the first trailer for the series has finally dropped, treating fans with a quick preview of what we can expect from the show. Judging from the clips in the trailer, the show looks set to explore everything from the early days of Molly-Mae and Tommy’s relationship to Molly’s journey as a single parent, balancing motherhood with the fashion empire she has created.

And tissues at the ready, because it could get emotional. At one point in the trailer, we see a clip of Molly in tears, while she narrates ‘suddenly overnight, every part of my life changed.’ Then, she says ‘the last couple of months have been the worst couple of months of my life.’

Later in the trailer, we see Molly launch her new business, the womenswear brand Maebe. At one point, she tells someone on a phone call, ‘It's absolute carnage,’ though it's unclear what exactly she was referring to.

The trailer also shows touching interviews with family and friends. ‘She’s just a normal girl. She just has the world’s eyes on her,’ says her dad. The series describes itself as ‘raw, real, and redefining,’ allowing viewers to see beyond Molly’s social media presence, and see the person behind the headlines. ‘I don’t know what the future holds. This is a good opportunity for me to say how I actually feel,’ Molly-Mae says in the documentary. While it’s again unclear what Molly-Mae is referring to, it looks likely that she’s going to lift the lid on it all in the documentary.

Speculation around the series has been mounting ever since Molly Mae and Tommy announced their split in August this year. Originally, the reality show was meant to star Molly-Mae, Tommy and their 18-month daughter Bambi, before their love story came to an end.

A source at the time said ‘Molly-Mae and Tommy are in talks to star in their own reality series with Prime Video. Over the years, they have had multiple streaming platforms approach them to do a fly-on-the-wall show, their lives and careers are so interesting and their fanbase would love a closer look into everything that goes on behind the scenes.’ Molly hinted that the new project was on the horizon in an Instagram Q&A at the time, saying, ‘We also have a really big change happening for our family in July, which is super exciting and will take a lot of our time.’

Now, it seems Molly has chosen to pursue the documentary on her own, allowing cameras into her home to give us an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at her life since the shock split. The couple faced allegations that Tommy had cheated leading to the end of their relationship, which he has fiercely denied.

Molly-Mae spoke about the split for the first time with Vogue this month, as she confirmed they had a wedding planned for September 2025 and she ‘didn’t want what happened to happen.’ She continued ‘No one will ever really know what went down apart from Tommy and I, and that's how we'd like to keep it, for Bambi's sake.’ She also addressed the filming of the documentary, saying 'So far, so good. I've not lost my mind yet with the cameras in my house all the time.'

The documentary, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, will premiere on Prime Video on January 17, 2025.
