Travis Barker reveals Kris Jenner’s over-the-top 1st birthday gift to grandson Rocky – but fans find it ‘inappropriate’

FANS have branded Kris Jenner's 'over-the-top' 1st birthday gift for grandson Rocky Barker "inappropriate".

Blink-182 drummer Travis, 48 - who shares Rocky with momager Kris' eldest daughter Kourtney Kardashian - took to Instagram to reveal the extravegant present.

Kris, 69, gifted her youngest grandchild a handwritten letter from Sylvester Stallone, who is of course known for playing the iconic character Rocky Balboa.

The note read: "Dear Rocky, my name is Rocky too.

"Your name is very special and is identified with wonderful things. Life has many challenges you will face - you will need to show dedication and determination.

"You must never give up on your dreams, never! Now most importantly, you must always value family, friendship, and loyalty over fame and fortune."

Sylvester, 78, signed off: "Keep punching, Sly 'Rocky' Stallone."

Posting a snap of the letter, Travis wrote: "One of the most special birthday gifts, thank you @krisjenner @officialslystallone."

But some fans weren't as impressed, insisting the gift was pointless considering Rocky's age.

Writing on social media, one said: "This is gonna be so cool when he learns 1. how to read 2. who Sylvester Stallone is."

Another said: "Lol this family is so weird. This comes off as 'look at what my money gives me access to' bc why the hell does a baby need a letter from Rocky."

Someone else commented: "I feel like this is inappropriate for a baby!"

And a fourth added: "It’s not like he’s going to know what it is right now. It’s clearly something for when he gets older."

Fan backlash

Last month Travis was slammed by fans after his eldest son Landon was accused of mocking Diddy’s alleged sex trafficking victims at his 21st birthday party.

Shocking clips from the celebrations at Nobu, with reference to the Diddy scandal, left fans lost for words.

One video showed a group of bottle service girls carrying baby oil with flashing lights inside them, followed by another server walking over with a birthday cake.

A DJ could be heard saying: "We're getting really freaky tonight. We're getting Diddy freaky tonight."

In another, Landon - who is dressed in all white - was seen chatting and laughing with his pals while holding the bottles.

The baby oil is in reference to the more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil allegedly found at Diddy's homes during a raid earlier this year - which were used for his 'freak-off' parties.

Many couldn't believe their eyes, with one writing on Reddit: "That is horrifying — absolute victim shaming."

Another simply wrote: "Disgusting."

"Tasteless. This family is so feral," a third said on the discussion website."
