Tulisa says she'll 'quit showbiz in two years' for new career after I'm A Celebrity

1 week ago 3

Tulisa Contostavlos has said she's planning to ditch the celebrity lifestyle within the next couple of years, using her I'm A Celebrity earnings to dive into a new property venture.

The N-Dubz icon and ex-X Factor judge, aged 36, was rumoured to be eyeing a major career resurgence with her stint in the jungle.

However, Tulisa has made it clear that she's now all about the chill vibes and is looking to make her dosh away from the glitz of music and telly. In a bombshell that might stun her followers, Tulisa confessed: "The music industry is wild, it is ridiculous. I'm through most of it. I'll be out in two years from now.

"I'm going to property next year. I think I'll always come back for N-Dubz. But I think the person I've become, I'm a public figure that doesn't really like being in the public eye."

Tulisa has said she wants to move into property rentals soon

Chatting with Fearne Cotton on the Happy Place podcast just before jetting off to Oz, Tulisa dished on her long-term goals beyond the limelight.

She spilled the beans: "I'm going into property. I am actually going to build some themed rentals. So I'm like, a super fantasy geek, all things like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones. And I've always wanted to get into the property game. But I was also like, there's some parts of it that can be a little bit mundane."

"And I was like, 'How can I do this but also be really passionate about what I'm doing. So why don't I incorporate, you know, something that I'm super passionate about?'.

"So instead of just like building houses, let's build themed places that I can rent out. So yeah, at the minute I'm looking for land, I want it to all be very kind of like a nature reserve, you know, cabins in a forest, Hobbit houses. So, yeah, that's my plan for 2024. I'm absolutely buzzing."

Tulisa is set to be one of the celebs braving the jungle on I'm A Celebrity this year. The camp will also home Coleen Rooney, who at 38 has made her mark not just as footie star Wayne's missus but as the sleuth in the sensational Wagatha Christie drama with Rebekah Vardy.

Punters are already placing bets and it's McFly's Danny Jones who’s tipped as top dog to win - he's got form too, having won The Masked Singer, and his band pal Dougie Poynter was crowned king of the jungle back in 2011.
