Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has insisted she is "too busy" to worry about fame like she used to.

The fashion designer celebrated her 50th birthday in April with a lavish party alongside her family and close friends. She was joined by her Spice Girls bandmates as well as football icon husband David Beckham and their four children. Victoria gave fans a glimpse into her extravagant bash, which is said to have set her back £250,000.

However, her milestone has also marked a huge change for the star as she has now started to give less of a "s**t" about fame. In a bombshell interview, Victoria has revealed both her and David have now "figured out how to be quite discreet" in their lives. Recently, Victoria has been spending her time focusing on her fashion line while David keeps busy with his football club Inter Miami.

Their sons Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 19, have also started to carve out careers of their own in the spotlight, yet Victoria and David seem keen to take a backseat. "I suppose it used to be fun to go out and be chased by paparazzi walking down Bond Street – and you would dress knowing you were going to get that. I don’t want that any more," she told Harper’s Bazaar magazine.

"I’ve been doing this too long. I suppose I did when I was growing up but, nowadays, there’s just too much going on; too busy; too many kids to worry about." Victoria simply declared: "I woke up at 50, and I gave a s**t less." Victoria and David are keen to focus on each of their business ventures instead of celebrity status.

Posh's fashion and beauty empire finally turned a profit last year as sales soared by 52 per cent to £89million. Victoria admitted it was a "huge accomplishment" and credited the launch of Victoria Beckham fragrances as the turning point. She is set to be the subject of a new Netflix deal that will document her journey from Spice Girl to fashion designer.

It follows on from the huge success of David's documentary series Beckham that charted his football career and family life. Victoria has insisted her series will not be as personal as David's. Announcing the news at the Edinburgh TV Festival, Adam Hawkins Director, Documentary Series, Netflix said: "We are working with Victoria Beckham on a project.

"She is surprising, she is warm, she is witty and now we are going to get to hang out with her for the next few months. This is an observational documentary following her, behind the scenes in Paris and with her family." The currently untitled docuseries will take a look back at Victoria's journey from Space Girls fame to her fashion empire. Victoria launched her fashion brand in 2008 and celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley and Gwyneth Paltrow have all worn her designs. She launched a skincare and beauty line in 2019.

The December/January issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK is on sale from Nov 6.
