In an ideal world, Travis Kelce would be at the final date of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, but in reality, he simply can't make it.
As much as Kelce, 35, would like to support Swift, 34, for the closing night of the tour on December 8, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his team are scheduled to face the Los Angeles Rams the same night. The couple will be in completely different time zones that day, with the game taking place at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City and her show in Vancouver.
Swifties and NFL fans alike have known for months that the NFL pro would not make it to the show. Some fans of the couple reached out to the official NFL account on X (formerly known as Twitter) to try to make it possible for Kelce to attend the concert.
"NFL, we want Chiefs to have a 1 p.m. game on the 8th of December. Please flex it so Travis can go watch Taylor finish her tour in Vancouver," demanded one Swiftie. A second added, "Change the Chiefs game on Dec 8th to noon. I AM BEGGING." Meanwhile, a third bluntly stated, "I'M SORRY, BUT THE NFL NEEDS TO MAN THE F*** UP AND CHANGE THE CHIEFS GAME DEC 8 BECAUSE THERE'S NO WAYYY THEY'LL LET OUR GIRL BE A F****** EMOTIONAL WRECK ON THE LAST SHOW WITHOUT HER KILLA SUPPORT THERE."
Despite not being able to make it for the final night of his girlfriend's tour, the football pro made a point to see her perform one last time in Indiana on November 2. "I wanted to see Tay one more time before this thing got closed up. I'll tell you what, man, the American crowds, they did not disappoint," Kelce told his brother Jason in an episode of their podcast New Heights.
Since making their relationship public in September last year, Kelce has made an effort to be present at as many of Swift's concerts as possible. The NFL player has been spotted at Eras Tour concerts around the world, including Argentina, Singapore, Australia, multiple European countries, and the U.S. The "Fortnight" singer has also been there for her boyfriend having attended 13 games this season, 10 of which Kelce and the Chiefs won.
