Prue Leith, the esteemed Great British Bake Off judge, has made a candid admission about her attitude towards life, revealing she's become 'more reckless' as she feels she's nearing life's finale.
In an intimate conversation with Bella magazine, the culinary icon, aged 84, shared insights into her evolving mindset: "Because I'm so near the end, I'm a bit more reckless now. What's the worst that can happen? "
Prue mused over her newfound daring spirit, explaining how she's embracing opportunities for enjoyment: "If I was about to try to get a job on Bake Off I probably wouldn't walk down a catwalk in Latex with goth make-up on, but now it's too late. If I want to do it and it sounds like good fun I just think, 'why not? '".
Her adventurous streak was on full display at London Fashion Week in September when she took to the runway for the first time, modelling for the fashion label Vin + Omi.

ecounting her bold venture, Prue described her outfit and the exhilarating experience: "Two days ago, I got dressed, well, barely dressed, in a skintight black latex number held together with corset-style red cord. I was here to march down a catwalk in front of 500 members of the press and public."
Despite initial nerves, the support from the audience transformed her apprehension into thrill: "But in spite of all that, I just loved it. The crowd could not have been kinder, whooping and hollering at the gallant old lady (84 and counting) giving it a go. I'm just such an egotist, lapping up the attention."

Prue Leith, who took over from Mary Berry in 2017, has continued to ride the wave of success with the hit show that first graced television screens more than 14 years ago, becoming stronger with each season.
Yet, despite her longstanding tenure, Prue conceded that retirement is on her mind: "So I won't leave in a hurry, but I will leave some time because I'm getting ancient.", reports Wales Online.
