Gary Lineker has reunited with ex-wife Danielle Bux for a 'Christmas tipple' eight years after their surprise split.
The 64-year-old has remained friendly with Welsh model and actress Danielle, 45, since they divorced in 2016. Prior to that they were married for seven years after meeting when pals set them up on a blind date in 2007.
But far from being bitter like many exes, these two have remained the best of friends. And Gary was even spotted enjoying a candlelit meal with Danielle in London on Tuesday night.
Posting pics of their festive night out on Instagram, Danielle revealed the pair shared a meal at swanky Notting Hill restaurant Dorian. A photo of the table showed they drank red wine. A tasty looking tomato salad was also in the shot.
Later on in the evening, Danielle took a sultry selfie of her and Gary waiting on a platform, wrapped up warm from the cold. She captioned the post 'night tube' as the pair waited to get the Tube home.

Getty Images)These days Danielle lives in Los Angeles after relocating to the US following her and Gary's divorce. But whenever she comes back to the UK she is thought to stay with 'best pal' Gary, who has a pad just outside the capital.
Though they clearly still have love for each other, it was revealed the cause of their split was over Danielle's desire to have more children. Danielle was already mum to now 23-year-old daughter Ella from a previous relationship in her early 20s but wanted to add to her brood.
Gary has four sons from his first marriage to Michelle Cockayne, who he married in 1986. The former couple divorced in May 2006 but are parents to George, 32, Harry, 30, Tobias, 28 and Angus, 26.
Speaking on his friend Gaby Logan's podcast The Mid-Point last year, Gary said of his split from Danielle: 'It was purely down to children. She already had a daughter, I had four boys, then her body clock started ticking and she had the urge. In the end, we decided "Well, why don't we just stay mates?"
After leaving Danielle free to meet someone who also wanted a baby, she went on to meet and marry American entertainment lawyer Nate Greenwald in 2019. The pair welcomed now seven-year-old daughter Romy in 2017.
In 2019, Gary explained: "Danielle and I are best mates, we still speak three times a day, we text all the time. When she comes to London, she stays with me, and when I go to LA, I see her."
The football icon has since been single and claims he isn't bothered about intimacy anymore, as at his age his testosterone levels had dropped. More recently, he has insisted he doesn't miss being married and is content that his working life and sons occupy most of his time.
He told The Times: "I like being on my own... I don't feel lonely. I have the odd date here and there, but nothing, not in terms of a long relationship. I've been married most of my adult life. Two really good marriages, I'm friends with both."
Refusing to comment on his sex life, he insisted: "I am still single. I am not going down that route! I have been there before and tried to explain myself and I got slaughtered by my friends." Gary also denied ever using dating apps and refused to let his sons set up an online profile for him.
