A popular TV star looks totally unrecognisable in a throwback photo of the presenter.
The host is seen smiling at the camera with a full head of thick dark hair in the old snap which has baffled many over who it may be. The Bermondsey-born former fruit and veg man has been gracing screen for the last 20 years having become a huge success after being kicked out of school when he was just 15.
Not only is he a big TV star he has also authored many best-selling cookery books and has fronted everything from cookery shows to documentaries for the BBC. The man in question is none other than MasterChef co-host Gregg Wallace.
The image comes after the BBC launched a probe into past allegations over his conduct. Wallace has reportedly found himself in hot water amid reports he was investigated for making inappropriate remarks to a female BBC employee.

According to The Sun, 'red flags' regarding Wallace's behaviour were raised some six years past on the BBC game show Impossible Celebrities when he allegedly made "inappropriate sexual comments" towards a female staffer.
The BBC will now reportedly face a host of new questions on why the MasterChef star was allowed to keep his job in the corporation - despite BBC bosses promising to sort out the workplace culture after a string of recent scandals.
They have stated: "The BBC say they are keen to clear up issues around workplace culture but have allowed Gregg to remain on a flagship show despite allegations about his conduct. There are questions to be asked about the decision to allow Gregg to continue on MasterChef despite these previous incidents." Wallace was reportedly received strict instructions to amend his behaviour.

Gregg was accused of making inappropriate comments to a younger, female member of the production team. "He is said to have been boasting about his sex life with his partner at the time. At one point, Gregg was also accused of taking his top off in front of the woman which felt inappropriate. Gregg appeared to think it was all just banter and is also said to have made some comments in front of the live audience. The team working on the show were mortified and told BBC top brass what had happened," the source said.
Following the news of his behaviour, he took to Instagram to deny his comments were sexual. He said: "With reference to what's in the newspapers, these allegations were investigated by the BBC six years ago - and my comments were found to be not sexual. I repeat not sexual. Thank you for your time."
