The trial, High Street of Horrors, saw Danny face some of his biggest alleged fears, including a room filled with snakes that had the star was losing it. But speaking on the Never Have I Ever podcast, Georgie said that ITV bosses were lied to by Danny and this has been an elaborate strategy for him to do well.
Speaking with host Hannah Cooper, she explained: "He's lied, and he said he's scared of snakes; bulls*** - world exclusive: bulls***. So, everyone vote for the tasks that don't involve snakes, please! He’s not scared of snakes, but he said he is, that’s a double bluff."
She added: "He's now going to get tasks with snakes - I think they think Danny's a really genuine guy! The only problem with Danny is he's not great when he's hungry or tired, and he's going to be hungry and tired."
Elsewhere in the interview, Georgie revealed that she found it hard to pick one luxury item for her partner due he fact he had no idea what he wanted to have himself. "This man has never fussed so much over the fact that he can't tape his mouth in the jungle; he tapes his mouth at night," Georgie said.
"It’s meant to have many, many health benefits - it’s literally like a piece of gaffer tape," she added. "It's like a massive plaster of your lips."
Danny has been a keen star for ITV bosses on the show as he continues his stay in the Aussie jungle, but his actions have been questioned after he took a liking to controversial campmate Barry McGuigan. Speaking to the Mirror newspaper, body language expert Judi James said Danny and Barry are trying to take on the role of camp leader, which is causing tension in camp.
When Danny tackled Barry in the show, Judi said it resembled "a powerful head-to-head" to establish the camp's hierarchy. This also sparked debate on how they treat BBC Radio DJ Dean McCullough, with both taking different approaches for how to deal with conflict.
