Imaan Hammam on the Digital Cover of Vogue Arabia Poses Some Serious Questions…

3 weeks ago 2

Make no mistake Vogue Arabia is one of the more superior editions of Vogue available today. After all, Manuel Arnaut, who has served as editor-in-chief since 2017, has become a total asset to the magazine. Covers throughout 2024 starring the likes of Rania Benchegra, Winnie Harlow, and Claudia Schiffer have commanded our attention here at theFashionSpot to no end. To commemorate the sixth annual Fashion Trust Arabia (an event celebrating talent across the MENA region), Arnaut enlists Imaan Hammam for a special digital cover of Vogue Arabia for November 2024. The Moroccan-Egyptian model poses for Moroccan photographer Mous Lamrabat for the occasion, showcasing a sculptural white ensemble from Doha-based designer Yasmin Mansour (winner of the 2024 Evening Wear category) in the cover photograph.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“Congratulations to Vogue Arabia for their Guinness World Record of being the first publication to make Imaan look like that,” scolded ReneSanchez at once.

“Imaan Hammam deserves print covers only,” forum member Cute declared.

“I had never seen a bad photograph of her until now,” chimed in A.D.C.

Fauxfashion also questioned: “How could they have managed to make Imaan look bad? #NoWords!”

“Beyond amateurish,” exclaimed Vitamine W.

“Seen better, and also seen far worse. In all honesty, I don’t mind the sight of this. The lighting is somewhat questionable but I like the background and the white Yasmin Mansour look. Not to mention how I am ALL for seeing Imaan Hammam,” approved vogue28.
