Livvy Dunne's boyfriend, Paul Skenes, is showing his support for her gymnastics career.
On Monday, December 16, the 22-year-old Louisiana State University gymnast shared a snap with her and the Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher, also 22, at LSU's Gym 101 showcase on her Instagram Story. The annual gymnastics event took place at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on campus, and Skenes made the trip to support his girl.
In the photo, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model can be seen grinning from ear to ear as she wraps her arms around her man. Skenes, who looked at Dunne instead of the camera, was dressed in jeans, a white sweatshirt, and a baseball cap that covered most of his face. The NCAA champion wore black track pants and a purple zip-up and had her hair in a sleek bun.
Dunne wrote, "BIG LSU GYM FAN," with the red light emoji in white text at the top of the image.
The duo have been dating since 2023 and met on campus while attending LSU. Rumors of their relationship began swirling after Dunne posted a TikTok video in June 2023 of herself wearing Skenes' jersey at one of his baseball games. Two months later, in August 2023, Skenes confirmed the relationship with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
The athletic power couple has consistently supported each other's careers since they started dating, attending games and events together like the All-Star Red Carpet in July. Last month, Dunne celebrated Skenes' Rookie of the Year win — and faced some public scrutiny after a video of her reacting to the award was deemed "awkward" by the public.
The video — which the social media star posted on TikTok — captured the moment when the MLB player won the top award. In the clip, Dunne celebrates and gets excited while Skenes reacts very calmly, leading fans to call their mismatched energy "awkward." However, Dunne defended herself in the comment section, explaining the nerves got to her.
"I was nervous like AHHHH," she wrote.
