Simon Cowell has shared a sweet moment with his son Eric as he enjoyed some winter sun before Christmas.
The 65-year-old posted a rare clip to his Instagram feed showing him racing 10-year-old Eric on sea scooters in a swimming pool. The pair went head-to-head with Simon starting the video by saying: "We're now at the finals at the 2024 Seabob championship - it's currently 2-1 to Eric, so this is the deciding race."
As Eric's mum Lauren Silverman shouts 'go!', the pair set off and Eric charged into the lead as Simon lagged behind, claiming: "Mine isn't working properly!" Sweet Eric then did a U-turn in the pool allowing his dad to catch him up. He then yelled: "But I still beat you!" Declaring himself the winner, Eric shouted: "I won, I won!" as an exhausted looking Simon said: "Wow, that was difficult but it was worth it." Turning to Eric, he added: "You did great."
In the caption, a cheeky Simon wrote: "I still think I won! Love, Simon x." Fans were quick to comment below, with one asking: "Where can I get one of these [a sea scooter]? How cool!" Another posted: "Haha I do that with my son and lose every time!" A third commented: "This is so wholesome. Your greatest achievement has been becoming a daddy."
A fourth said: "Family time is the best time with your son. Enjoy, they grow fast and he'll be driving your car soon." A fifth wrote: "How fun!! Moments he'll never forget!" While a sixth added: "I love how much you love your son. I'm glad you have Eric in your life. Hope you all have a lovely Xmas."

Instagram)It's not known where in the world Simon and his family currently are, but the music mogul - who is estimated to be worth around £600 million - is thought to have homes in Los Angeles, Spain, New York and recently bought a family home in the Cotswolds. The sun is still shining in LA at this time of year, so he could be there.
But Simon is also known to love spending Christmas in Barbados, where he is also reported to own a property. His ex Sinitta told The Times how she often spends the festive season with Simon and his family on the Caribbean island, which is also home to huge stars like Rihanna.
She said: "We may be exes, but we're more like siblings and are godparents to each other's children. Simon and I often spend Christmas in Barbados with our families, either on the yacht or at One Sandy Lane, private villas owned by our good friend Maureen."
The 80s singer, who had hits with So Macho and Right Back Where We Started From, revealed more details from their Chrismasses in the sun. She said: "Simon plays Santa, arriving on a jet ski, spoiling the kids rotten. Lunch is usually around the pool and then we might have dinner at Sandy Lane Hotel, which does an incredible buffet." Alright for some!
Simon's winter getaway comes after the former X Factor judge has kept a lower profile in recent months, following the tragic death of One Direction star Liam Payne at the age of just 31 in October.
After news of Liam’s fall in Argentina broke, Simon wrote: "You never really know how you feel about someone until a moment like this happens. Liam, I am devastated. Heartbroken. And I feel empty. And I want you to know how much love and respect I have for you. Every tear I have shed is a memory of you.
"This is so difficult to put into words right now. I went outside today, and I thought about so many times we had together. I wanted to let you know what I would always say to the thousands of people who would always ask me. What is Liam like? And I would tell them you were kind, funny, sweet, thoughtful, talented, humble, focused. And how much you loved music. And how much love you genuinely had for the fans."
