Ant Middleton makes subtle dig at Channel 4 as he praises network for 'valuing him'

3 weeks ago 3

Ant Middleton has made a subtle dig against his former employer Channel 4.

The SAS: Who Dares Wins star first appeared on the show in 2015 and became a fan fave until he was dropped from the programme in 202 due to the channel's objections to his "personal conduct".

Since then he has gone from strength to strength in Australia and has been starring in SAS Australia and Dancing With The Stars which both appear on Channel 4 down under.

Talking about his recent TV bookings and in Oz and his new book Military Mindset, Ant exclusively told us: "The reason why I've done with Dancing With The Stars is because I have a really good relationship with Channel 7. What I love about Australia, which is different to the UK, is they really value talent.

"The channels in the UK, the pecking order goes the channel, production company, their next priority is then the talent, and then professional contributors. Where in Australia, they really look after their talent.

"So it goes channel, talent, then production company. Over there, talent are just as important as the production companies. Because of the way they value me and the way that they see how I can benefit them and vice versa."

Ant's new book is half military memoir and half go-to manual for personal development and self-improvement. Military Mindset will offer readers invaluable guidance delivered in the form of punchy, but easy-to-digest anecdotes drawn from Ant's own experience.

Talking about his book, Ant commented: "I'm not reinventing the wheel, I'm just grabbing people's shoulders and putting them in the right direction. Once they're on their way, hopefully, they'll be able to break things down themselves and get on with things.
