Three I'm A Celebrity stars' journey took a terrifying turn.
Danny Jones kicked off his I'm A Celebrity stint with some unexpected drama as a massive thunderstorm forced his flight to delay its landing, with Brisbane airport temporarily shutting down. The McFly singer and guitarist was set to touch down in Brisbane on Sunday after jetting in from London, but flight SQ245 hit a colossal storm that led to the runway closure.
Over the tannoy at Brisbane airport's arrivals hall, it was announced: "The runway is currently closed until the storm has passed." It further explained that flights already landed would face delays too, due to staff being unable to unload baggage.

With the storm anticipated to rage for at least another hour and having been meant to land as the runway closed, Danny faced severe turbulence and a rough touchdown on Sunday.
It wasn't just Danny aboard the flight; last year's I'm A Celebrity champ Sam Thompson and former contestant Joel Dommett were also spotted at Heathrow catching the same flight, as they're gearing up to present an ITV2 spin-off program this year. Meanwhile, the full list of celebs for I'm A Celebrity has been the subject of whispers and wild guesses, though ITV will confirm the official lineup in the upcoming days.
Among them will be Coleen Rooney, age 38, known both as football star Wayne Rooney's wife and for her headline-grabbing Wagatha Christie trial with Rebekah Vardy concerning leaked stories about her family, reports the Mirror.
N Dubz singer and former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos is rumoured to be making a TV comeback on the show. Boxing legend Barry McGuigan is also set to join the show, stepping in as the sportsman in camp after Ally McCoist dropped out.
Bookies currently have McFly star Danny as the favourite to win. He previously won The Masked Singer and his McFly bandmate Dougie Poynter clinched victory on the show back in 2011.
